    What is wrong with peace for peace? Syria and Israel have a shared border as it stands now. Is there fear of Israeli expansion into Syria? Is there fear of Syrian expansion into Israel? Land does change hands during war one way or another, and wars end one way or another as well. 39 years later neither of the countries have made any advances beyond that border as it stands. What's wrong with peace for peace? What benefit could Syria have with open economic and political ties with Israel? None? Some? Is it worth it for Syria to have peace with Israel? What's wrong with peace for peace?
