Any self confidence gained by this reassurance from the US will only prop up Israel to go forward with a unilateral strike on it's own. It's not in the interest of the US to make the strike and it's not going to be in their interest in the long run to support de facto or even ex post facto any such strike . Israel must be prepared to go it alone from start to finish or not at all. this is absolutely an all or nothing situation no matter how it's looked at. God himself only knows the outcome of such a drastic move but if, in deed, the threat is real as assumed and many are left to believe, any failure to address the situation will never change the ideology of such hatred and fear expressed towards the Zionist entity. Unlike previous wars in the Middle East, the involvement of Israel this time seems to be a do or die scenario, not by chance of course, but with no guarantees of the out come, it's a crap shoot left only to destiny and what ever that it brings. If Israel is prepared to confront that destiny at this time in history, then there is nothing left to wait on, but if they are not, they better take the advise of the west and their supporters.
