You repeatedly talk about Iran as though it were an aggressive country looking for excuses to attack others. Given the recent history of the region, I cannot see anything to support this. Has Iran attacked anyone, or is it not rather threatened by others who attack and invade its neighbors? Whatever one thinks of the nature of the regime in Teheran (and I am no apologist for it), it seems to me that a realistic assessment of the situation is in the interest of all. Maybe Iran is not using the Palestinians as an excuse for an aggressive policy, just as it treats its Jews better than most other countries in the region?
