One gets the feeling that some Israeli Jews think a little too highly of themselves. There is literally nothing that Iran or Syria, or Hizbollah or Hamas have done that Israel also hasn't done in one form or another. Over the long haul, Israel has killed more civilians than any of them. All of this seems to automatically be filtered out of the psyche of Israeli Jews. They never seem to understand why the Arabs wuold "attack" them. When people around the world criticize them, is must be because they are anti-semites. As for settlement expansion, the Israelis think that all the land was theirs to begin with and those millions of people that they treat with utter disdain have no claim on it. All of this self righteous arrogance promotes such negative feelings, that the question of right and wrong almost becomes secondary.

When Adolf Hitler first sent Jews to die, Europeans and Americans agreed that it was not their problem. Israel may be about to make the same mistake about Assad's killings in Syria.11:04 05.05.16 | 0 comments
