    I look at the texts here and shake my head - no side is innocent here. However, I believe in the rule of law, international or otherwise. Occupation is occupation, no matter the reason, and security is a myth on the best of days - all we can hope for as a species is good risk management. Racism exists on both sides - notable to me having previously married into a Jewish family in which I was the infadel - so much for tolerance. Conversion counts for nothing - unkind things were said. But not all Jews hate others, and the same is true for Palestinians or other races. We are all human, with roughly the same needs. We need to play on the one string we have - people willing to get past the past. This is as true of Zionists as anyone else, but perhaps more true - these are the people who are taking from others, claiming pre-eminence. Your survival is threatened primarily by yourselves - the only self-preservation you have is to make peace. The world watches...
