Steve there is a lot of what Dobbs says,if not most, that makes sense. For Jews, when it comes to ANYWHERE but Israel,we hate such talk. It is from the time of our exodus ships being turned back after the Holocaust. It is from pogroms thoughout our history within closed borders. Just like there is a little truth in every paranoia, there IS truth in what Lou Dobbs says. Protectionism is only Isolationism when it goes overboard. The problem is when you let the floodgates open and Im not taking the mexican refugees here. I talking the trend of America going more towards a protectionist policy and when America, who are leaders of the democratic world, goes that way,so will the other countries. This is not good for the Jews. For me I want a kinder gentler world,a democratic world but one that protects itself from any fundamentalism. My suggestion for the US is Put up the Wall, but bring more in legally. For Israel: Put up the Wall but try to find a genuine solution.
