    Please don't supply your own take of a study without any reference to the study itself. It's neither helpful nor honest. However if you look at #146 you will see some references to genetic studies/articles which do give some references and seem to contradict your appraisal: ""...[T]he Levites, another paternally inherited Jewish caste, display evidence for multiple recent origins, with Ashkenazi Levites having a high frequency of a distinctive, NON-Near Eastern haplogroup...
