Most of the violence of the last 5 decades has been between Moslems and their neighbors. Count em: Iran and Iraq war, Iraq and Kuwait war, Moslems vs non-Moslems in the Sudan, Chechnyan war, Bosnian war, violence netween Uighurs and Han in China, between Moslems and Hindus in India, Shia and Sunni in Iraq, India and Pakistan war, Russian and Afganistan war, Syria and Jordan threatened war (prevented by Israel backing up Jordan), Lebanese Civil war (several), Syrian invasion of Lebanon, Turkish Kurdish wars, - I could continue but I hope you see the point. The Israeli -Palestinian conflict is only a drop in the bucket compared to all that. From this I think we can conclude that Islamic societies make war on their neighbors far more often than say, European ones do (at least in the last half century) and that perhaps Israel may not be entirely at fault for all the wars it has been involved in.
