Does the online Haaretz have more or less users since instituting the subscription fee? I think this is important to know before taking up a subscription. From his tone, I suspect Schochen's letter might be a last ditch, desperate, appeal for new subscribers prior to stopping the service altogether. Does Haaretz have something to hide?
