I guess there is some concern about previous cases where AIPAC guys were let off the hook, also whilst 'spying' for Israel. The FBI could be making a point. Yet the FBI don't pick names out of a telephone book. This guy was likely under suspicion and probably took little persuading[if any] to pass on information. 'IF' that is the case he will no doubt go to jail. There is NO entrapment where a person is ready and willing to break the law and the government agents merely provide what appears to be a favorable opportunity for the person to commit the crime. Expect a plea bargain and prison sentence to follow.
