Spyguy, You said, 'Once the US is powerless to help Israel, Israel will be a sitting duck and will be eliminated.' If America abandons Israel, Europe, China, India, etc will compete to save Israel. Why - no one can afford to have a nuclear rogue state on the brink of suicide. All of these powers - Europe, India, China, etc have an interest in keeping the Israelis secure and happy. No one wants a nuclear power - with a second strike capability - to go down fighting. Why do you think that China, Japan, Intl Community are falling all over themselves to feed and clothe North Korea. Spyguy, there are almost 6 million Jews in Israel. The Intl Community will not risk nuclear winter to satisfy your delusion that Israel is on the edge of destruction. It is not. There will be a settlement. It will result in something most Israelis can live with. The Israelis will eventually remove more settlers. Not because it is forced to - but because they want to live in a majority Jewish State
