Now I thought this talkback was about a proposed Israeli law. And I find that according to ChanahS I have to prove my credentials by denouncing Arab disctatorships. But, ChanahS, you yourself claim "There is absolutely no similarity between Israel and Arab dictatorships". Well, certainly Israel was set up to be something quite different. And it has tried - under very difficult circumstances - to live up to that. But for a long time now many of those who started off admiring and supporting Israel have seen her become more and more like those Arab dictatorships. And to see the "Israel, right or wrong" crowd claim that she has the right do anything that Syria does is frankly disgusting. You are happy that having visited an Arab country bars someone from Israeli public life when rapists, fraudsters, and corrupt politicians are welcomed? And spare me the BS about passing information to the Syrias: you really think one has to visit Syria to do that?
