Image in the dark days of apartheid in South Africa a group of Afrikaaners buy a building in the middle of Soweto. They move in, fortify it then demand the SA army come and protect them from the blacks. Once protected they walk the streets openly carrying guns. Each Sunday the blacks are confined to their homes so the Afrikaaners can march to their church carrying bibles. Would any of this have made sense back then? No,of course not so why is Hebron any different to day ? S Z.
