    Contrary to popular belief, the U.N. does not create states. All sovereign states exist because of one reason and one reason only: The have militarily conquered and held territory. Every country on the face of the earth exists by right of force of arms. Israel seems to be the only country castigated for following this age-old and universal recipe for creating statehood.
