While Israelis carry heavy Polish baggage, the writer seems incapable of saying anything praise-worthy--or anything except he "snafus," ironic since Israel is hardly free of similar snafus when they take on major events. What is missing was a detailed description, such as that found in other papers. Readers deserve this, rather than the 'kvetching" that undermines the reportage and even the writer's own commemoration of his family.
