The pals call it surrender of the narrative but they also refuse to do what they always demand if Israelis - to step into their shoes for a minute. The "7" words are meant most of all to convince a justifiably skeptical israeli public that a grand territorial/security/refugees compromise would actually end the conflict and not leave Israel strategically reduced while pals continue to agitate globally for a variant of the one state solution. Even now the author's essay leaves open that option and points to south Africa and Switzerland as solution he prefers. Maybe the 7 words won't fly, but some similar formulation ought to be discussed to ensure that the end of the conflict is really the end.
