Like many Ha'aretz readers, I have been to this site (the Robinson's Arch area) many times. Yes, it is contiguous with the "Western Wall." But it s far from "where the action is." I would be okay with a proposal like this if the groups would rotate use of the sites: Let the egalitarians use the mens' site near the Western Wall tunnels sometimes. . . and have the men go to the Robinson's Arch. Oh, that's not good enough for them? Then it shouldn't be good enough for US. Before the liberation of the Old City in 1967, men and women prayed together at the small site available. You can see it in historical photographs. I support the Womens' right to pray in the Women's section wearing whatever they please -- and reading Torah -- like the men do in their section.
