Just read a description of the Trinidad Jewish community in 1939. It had about 600 Jews, and the colonial authorities decided to block off any further Jewish immigration for fear of upsettng the locals. We realize that you have no problem turning back the clock to a time when immigration of Jews from persecution relied on either the good will or the obliviousness of the local authorities, but we have a problem with returning to those days. And you know in your bones that the one state solution that you've touted for years would bring us back to those days. Thanks, but no thanks.
