The long infamous list of General Assembly resolutions does indeed have weight. The Palestinians and their Arab supporters use this laundry list as a means of attempting to deligitimize Israel as a nation. There have been several direct impacts of this assault One is the Human Rights fiasco at Durban back in 2000, and the subsequent rise in anti-Semetic attacks in Europe. Second. In a world that attempts to create some form of international laws and norms, the use of the UN as another theater of combat by the Palestinians is indeed an attack on Israel. A second example is the farce of a court ruling by the ICJ over Israel's security fence. Meanwhile, Israel's blackballing from the Security Council is but another. This attitude that has seeped into not just the UN, but the wider international NGO world. One blatant example is Israel's blacklisting from the International Red Cross, now only to be lifted after 50+ years and constant fighting. The world has learned to accept an Israel that can be excluded.

Shimon Attal.
For French teen studying in Israel, it's all about being a Jew among Jews

Arrivals / Departures: Anti-Semitism in France is certainly not the reason why this teen chose to come to Israel; an Israeli whose relatives perished in the Holocaust finds living in Berlin 'perfectly fine.'
