Ms. Chizik's columns normally are a source of pride. Her wrestling with the problems of identity in the contemporary Jewish religious world are a fountain of insight. Somehow, she got the issue of Tefillin for those women for whom it is important wrong. The thoughtful Nand articulate reply of a young HS student is something to be proud of. Serious Torah education of young women has created a change for the good that is irreversible and will have significant future implications. We are lucky to have young women like Ms. Chizik in our ranks and even luckier to have Avigayil Halperin to build even higher.
