You make it sound as if Poles had nothing whatsoever to do with the Holocaust and seem to overlook the fact that many Poles assisted the Nazis in murdering 3 million Polish Jews. Remember Jedwabne, Radzilow, and Wasosz where Poles murdered their Jewish neighbors? Remember the Polish blue police, who collaborated with the Nazis in finding Jews in hiding and killing them? Remember those Poles who betrayed Jews to the Nazis in return for rewards? Poles did play a significant supporting role in the Holocaust and it can't help but color the debate over shechita in Poland. Shechita was practiced in Poland for centuries and Jews will never accept it being banned in Poland today. How dare you?
