Despite all the criticisms Israel has against Iran, one should note that Israel in actual fact is no more democratic than Iran. On paper perhaps, but that's in the main just "lip service". Iran's minorities probably have more rights and freedoms than Israel's. In fact, I bet no Jew living in Iran would want to trade places with an Arab living in Israel... Furthermore, Israel claims to be a "secular" state, yet everything she says, does, her ideology and policies are influenced directly by religion, or has religious slants, with religious and ultra-religious leaders within the government. Errr, did I mention Iran?
