Worldwide socialism has been experimented with and everywhere it was tried it eventually failed ( Israel included ). The kibbutzim were the purest form of socialism and for a time the only one that ever really worked but eventually even they failed because people woke up and realised its nota fair system. Why should somebody who milks the cows earn the same as somebody who has studied to become a school teacher or a scientist? With capitalism & free market you work hard your rewarded for it. You worked hard made yourself rich then enjoy the luxury home, the sports car and designer watch.. Of course there will always be poor as well as rich but everybody has an opportunity but in a socialist system nobody gets that opportunity because government must play such a central role in the running of our lives. Idealists with their wishy washy theories of how the world can be made such a better place if we rid ourselves of things like free markets are nothing more than dreamers and I would love to know how this guy thinks his ideal world can be created.
