It makes me recall the news reports about tomatoes when I lived in Israel: Notenough rain-- tomatoes will be expensive. Too much rain--tomatoes will be expensive. With tourism: Not enough tourists? Raise hotel prices to make up for tourists who aren't there. Too many tourists? Raises the prices because there's so much demand relative to the supply. Why not just tell tourists to stay home, or at least not waste money telling them to come?
