Iran either has, or is about to have the Bomb. So what Israel does is to go out of their way to piss off Iran and/or their friends, and make it very clear that they have no intention of giving any of the contested land back. Now, I'm truly not wishing this on anyone, but I could see how someone might feel like if they weren't going to get their land back then no one would have it, and manufactured "facts on the ground" could change pretty horrendously and pretty quickly. I'm sort of surprised this hasn't happened already. I'm just confused as to why Israel thinks they can perpetually treat the Palestinians as their bitch and suffer only the occasional poorly aimed rocket attack. You know the expression "God made man, Colt made them equal" ?These days it's Oppenheimer dispensing equality. Israel couldn't even claim they were attacked because they haven't annexed the territory.
