Many years ago, during a trip to North America, I met a group of girls. They were calling each others Japs. I was perplexed as they certainly were not Japanese. So I asked them. They told me they were Jewish girls from Long Island (hence American) and they come from rich families who treat them like princesses, and they also behaved as princesses! Hence the acronym JAP. While I got the acronym and why they called each other that way, I didn't understand why they did except to be snotty and think they are better than others. It was funny, I thought. I never watched this show that the congressman is all worked up about but I'm sure it's funny and unlikely that its creators are anti-Semitic. My advise to Israel is to roll with it and have some fun.
