    Persians used to have an ethnoreligion like Jews and Samaritans, but now the vast majority of Iranians are under the sway of a political religion with no room for any non-Arab ethnos or nationality. Can you see Berbers or Pakistanis suddenly shedding Islam as a foreign contrivance? The ummah suffers from Stockholm Syndrome on a massive scale, and the remnants of each nation would seem to require their own version of a Eliezer Ben Yehuda to haul out shari'a inheritance law, scrape out the Arabic lexicon from their languages, and embrace their ancestors' cultures and values. Don't you think outside aid toward that pursuit would be treated with the deepest suspicion?
