    Silvienne, I am afraid that you are right about the settlements and the checkpoints. And I am also afraid that those who cannot stand any criticism of Israel will continue calling those who criticize Israel "anti-Semitic" or if Jews "self-hating." But what these slur slingers don't get is that there are many, many Jews who are proud of their ethnicity but not proud of what is being done in their names. These slur slingers cannot bear criticism and open discussion of Israel's ongoing repression of the Palestinians and so they seek to silence dissent with their vicious slurs.
