Readers can be assured that these architects who despise the Central Bus Station never take a bus, traveling instead in cars no bus rider could ever afford. Their comments smell of elitism and have as much relevance as the expert on child rearing who has never had children. As one who only travels by bus I can only say the Central Bus Station is a hell of a lot more pleasant than bus stations in most places in the western world. It also allows travelers to have access to a large variety of opportunities--to eat, to shop, to read. Now that the reporter has asked the experts, how about polling the public who uses the station? You might be very surprised by the results.
