While this past weeks events in Gaza are not exactly as stunning as the seemingly abrupt fall of the Iron Curtain, the resulting portents for a Palestinian-Israeli rapprochement are definitely within reasonable range of hope and eventual reality. Also the news that the Iranian Mullahs are freaking out and viciously clamping down on all anti-government signs and symbols are another sure indication that all is not well in the land of the anachronistic fatwa fetishists. It might sound counter intuitive to all the anti-Jewish pundits who see no thing ahead but a wished for and growing gathering of death from the air for Israel, but from the time of the Anschluss until the ignominious end of the Thousand Year Reich the world also quivered with rage and blood lust. There will be hard times ahead, but surely goodness and mercy shall rule the Earth, and the land shall be yours and the land shall be mine together in peace and love. Omein
