The Jewish identity, is not only a religious identity, it's also a cultural identity. Jews have kept the deam of going back to Zion alive for two thousand years. Regardless, of the places they lived, they all shared common cultural features. This is what allowed the creation of a modern Jewish nation in the 19th century. The Jewish secular identity was not only built on blood belonging. There are cultural elements which are also embedded in religion which unites Jews regardless of their faith. The Hebrew language, the destruction of the temples, the exile, the love for Zion and so on transcend religion. They are part of the collective memory of the Jewish people. This man is sick and his popularity among pro-palestinians just shows the antisemitism of these people. They might not hate Jews like Hitler did, but they still have a real problem with the Jewish identity. It's disgusting.
