It seems to me that Israelis going on vacation is only one group that is affected by an airport strike. How about the foreign tourists who can't get home and who are likely never to return and to tell their friends and relatives that they too could get stranded here? What about people traveling to see dying relatives, to attend funerals, or to be present at the wedding of a child or grandchild? What about the people who need medical care either here or in a foreign country? If all the strike were affecting were Israeli vacationers going abroad, I would agree, but the effects and profoundly greater.
