Of course Labor are condemning Livni's decision to form her own left wing party because that means she is taking away votes from Labor. Result is 2 weaker left wing parties rather than a single strong one and this means both parties have less muscle. If Bibi need coalition partners I am sure he would rather have 2 parties with about 10 seats each to deal with rather than a single one with 20 seats. Also less of a threat on election day as Likud is the main centre right party if it wasn't for Livni it would be a much closer election which would significantly weaken him. i imagine Bibi would probably like to form a coalition with National Union, Shas & UTJ and if he needs a leftist party in the coalition he would much rather deal with Livni that Shelly Y who is much to far to the left for his likening. As much as I cant stand Livni if her standing will take seats away from Yair Lapid who only policy is Yair Lapids planned political career then it can only be a good thing. Poor Shelly Y she thought she was going to be one of the most influential politicians in the Knesset and even be in with a chance of winning the premiership and now it looks like Livni is going to come and take it all off her,
