In the Context of European construction, war has to be banished, conquest does not exist anymore, the HUMAN RIGHTS are the golden standards. After two Word wars which were also European Civil Wars, SHARON's vision is nearly impossible to conceive. Especially for France and the United Kingdom who have a hard past of colonialism with memories never really taught to the young generations, SHARON's vision of the world is a colonialist vision. One has to keep in mind that up to now the 8th of May was only the Victory Day : The remembrance of the victory against the nazis. Who cared about the Massaccer of 45000 algerian Muslim civilians in SETIF the very 8th of May 1945 ????????? Who has ever asked to judge the Generals and the soldiers who commited SETIF ???? SHARON's VISION is adapted to the REALITIES OF MIDEAST and THE ARAB WORLD IN GENERAL WHERE NO DEMOCRACY EXISTS; where weakness or appearance of WEAKNESS can cause your ultimate destruction. The reality of Mideast is complex. LEBANON without Palestinians and without any state of ISRAEL spent nearly at least one century in bloody civil clanic wars between Druzes , Maronites and Sunnites. The conflict is redy now to ignite again. SHARON is a Pragmatic Zionist. He is really ready to accept the creation of a Palestinian State living in peace with the State of Israel. Unlike Itzhak RABIN and Shimon PERES in 1993, He wants garantees that the palestinian leadership and all the arab leaders will stick to the words of a genuine peace treaty. Sharon has been a tough ans succesfull warrior, he made dangerous political mistakes in Lebanon as Minister of Defense. He learnt from the disaster of Sabra and Chatilah what he must avoid at all costs. SHARON's vision is a strategic vision. The main threat for SHARON is not the Palestinians but the MOLLAH of IRAN. SHARON IS GENUINELY READY OR NEGOCIATE A PEACE TREATY WITH PALESTINIANS AND SYRIANS. HE IS NOT READY TO SACRIFICE THE STATE OF ISRAEL, THE ISRAELI NATION FOR GETTING A NOBEL PRICE OF PEACE FOLLOWED BY A KADDISH FOR 6 to 7 Millions of jews. ONCE IS ENOUGH: THAT IS HIS VISION. WHEN HE ARRIVED TO POWER, NO EUROPEAN COUNTREE WAS READY TO ACCEPT THAT ARAFAT WAS AN OBSTACLE TO PEACE, THAT HAMAS AND HEBOLLAH ARE TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS? THAT TERRORISM IS A PLAGUE FOR THE WHOLE CIVILIZED WORLD INCLUDED OF COUSE ALL THE MUSLIM MODERATE STATES SUCH AS TURKEY........TODAY , The trend has changed. EUROPE STICKS TO THE 242 AND 338 UN resolutions. EUROPE is right on this point. SHARON WILL IMPLEMENT THEM IF THRE ARE GENUINRE PARETNERS READY TO IMPLEMEMENT THEM.

Why Barak regrets speaking out on Iran

There was no security breach in what the former defense minister said about how an attack was thwarted; what has suffered is mainly Israel’s image.

How the bagel went from shtetls to haute cuisine

A visit to the world's bagel capital is a chance to marvel at how this unassuming Jewish-Ashkenazi food has come from its 17th-century beginnings.
