It has though minor importance but at least hospitals contatcing the media should know that the term "stroke" is not proper for what happened to Ariel Sharon last night. Since it is known to the neurological community that in many occasions sudden neurological deficits can come and go without any major further concequences, the term "TIA" (transient ischemic attack" has been introduced and used to distinguish from the "stroke" which means something at least long lasting event. We are happy that Ariel Sharon had TIA instead of a stroke.
