Many women, killed by partners, had fled to shelters but went home when support ended.09:23 14.02.16 | 0 comments
While on the surface there are similarities, there are enough differences to make this opinion shameful and misplaced. True the american negro, as they were called at that time, were disenfranchised. Howerver they were disenfranchised from their own state and they were pursuing full rights as american citizens. In the west bank, the palestinians are not seeking full rights as Israeli citizens. They are seeking a "right" that is distinctly different. While the parallels to the civil rights movement are interesting, the differences are far more noteworthy and far more imortant. Viewing the palestinian cause through the lens of the american civil rights movement distorts reality. The comparision of Israel to the Jim Crow south is perverse.
