At first I was appalled that this article stated that the family was beset by shame rather than grief. But then I thought, well maybe they should be feeling shame AND guilt for not finding a way to support one of their own and instead drove her into a depression fueled suicide. But of course, the real reason for their shame is something else entirely. I am sure the "power that be" they are so eager to appease is not so pleased.
