Hey Ahmed, tough cold winter no hockey eh? Well you stated that Israel has to appreciate the position of Egypt in the Middle East. That is fine, I have no problem with them tending to their egos. But we in Israel also have a position that has to be appreciated, this is not just a matter of ego or leadership, we are talking survival. That the actions taken by the Egyptian govenment are acceptable to the people, is just proof that if you educate a people, with numbing anti-Israel propoganda, and you use this scapegoat as your means for maintaining leadership in the Arab world, then this is a lame stand. Peace is something that we want in Israel, we play host happily to Egyptian artists and scientists, we would rather sit down and have dinner with you than kill you. but , if you are asking us to give up real, feel it in your palms, Land, for what may or may not be peace is not enough. For peace to come, the Egyptain government has to learn to respect and love its people, and not be so quick to put them in positions that may lead to war. If an Egyptian is pro-peace with Israel, than that is enough. He as an intellectual, and free thinker, and has no obligation to prove himself to some appointed body of half-rate artists.
