All settlers should understand that they are living in a non annexed land. They are legally settled because the West Bank was not stolen from no country and no Palestine state ever existed. That is a disputed land, whose final fate will be defined in negotiations. In the meantime, settlements in non private land are legal. However, the Israel governmment has also the right to dismantle setlements for political reasons. Peace is a good political reason and dismantling of setlements might be the right price for real peace and recognition of the jewish state.
