the settlements in the Westbank were not planted by chance. They are carefully placed on strategic points to foil the growth of Palestinian towns and villages. Ariel Sharon once said that he wanted Palestininians to see Jewish homes when they looked out of the window and sure enough he got his wish. It will be very hard, not to mention near impossible to reach an agreement on the borders. Because the border is fluid and that's the way Israel prefers it. Even Ariel, right in the middle of the Westbank is now considered 'inside Israel' What really is there to talk about with an attitude like that?
