    Here is how it should be: Everyone will do national service. This includes Arabs, Haredim, Leftists, COs, latte lovers. If you are too insane (profil 21) to do national service, you will be declared legally incompetent, and forfeit your vote (you are insane remember?), and driving license (might have a insanity attack whilst driving). If you did not wish to serve, but are not insane you will be imprisoned for three years, be considered a felon, and never receive state benefits or subsidized tuition (i.e. university will cost 200,000 NIS per year - the real cost) If in the future you change your mind and wish to serve, you can do the 3 years + 1 month per lapsed year (i.e. miluim that you have missed). People who are medically unfit will be drafted but will not do things they are incapable of. e.g. asthmatics will not run. The important thing is that the same rules will apply for everyone. No a priori exceptions.
