    1) Israel wants peace but if you have a situation where a recognised terrorist group (By EU and others) is firing rockets at their populace they have the right to defend themselves. 2) Hamas wants to destroy Israel but Israel does not want to destroy the Palestinians and wants to create a situation where both states can deal with each other peacefully. 3) Israel does not have any colonies. 4) There is no apartheid and there is no comparison between South Africa and Israel. 5) Israel wants to have a situation where its borders are secure, they don't have to worry about rockets flying over and hitting their schools, homes or terrorists blowing themselves up. 6) The setttlements is an issue but not one which is unreachable, plus Israel completely pulled out of Gaza Just my 2 cents
