Great article. Save the two-state solution before its too late. Mr Rivlin and all the one-state supporters look a lot like the people over here in Europe who propagated the multicultural society for the last couple of decades. They may all be genuine idealists but unfortunately the multicultural society is in a lot of trouble. Even the European left – whose ideal it was - is slowly beginning to agree on that. In all countries with large minorities one can see a growing polarization. Some view it as an economic problem of haves versus have-nots, others as a problem of clashing cultural identities. Of course it is a mixture of all that. Even a little country like mine – Belgium, which is just a tiny bit larger than Israel – is just breaking apart along a language frontier that separates the french-speaking south from the dutch-speaking north. If already these minor problems make it difficult to live together what about the problems facing the peoples of the middle east. The point is: for Gods sake, save Israel as the jewish homeland and end the occupation.
