Sephardim are Jews with ancestry on the Iberian Peninsula. Does this apply to the Jews of Yemen, Persia, the Caucasus, the Horn of Africa, China, etc.? NO! Most Jews from areas east of the Levant are Mizrachim (Easterners). Jewish diversity is great, and Ashkenazi Jews should educate themselves about it instead of calling every non-Ashkenazi "Sephardi."
