Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 10 comments
Had the Israelis not taken pains to limit civilian casualties, the numbers would have been far, far higher. Body counts are tragic on a humanitarian level but meaningless in rational analysis. Nothing is in a vacuum. Relatively low number of Israeli casualties is due to home front civilian protection (something neither the Lebanese government nor the "benevolent" Hizbollah thought of doing) as well as sheer luck that the katyushas miss their targets in most cases.
