Senator Daniel Moynihan once said,"everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but no their own facts." A collection of myths, folk history, anecdotes was re-named the "Palestinian narrative", and is used to support Palestinan progaganda efforts. However, many of the items within the "Palestinian narrative" which, as Richard said above, "everyone just knows" are simply not facts. In addition to a radically different version of Israel's 1948 War of Independence, it also often contains such fabrications as the "Tantura Massaacre", "Palestinians are indigeneous and the descendants of the Phillistines/Hebrews/Canaanites while Modern Jews are actually Turkic Khazars", "European powers armed the Zionists who forcibly displaced the Arab nation of Palestine","Tel Aviv was built on an Arab city" etc etc. Modern, political anti-zionism depends on the un-qustioning acceptance of certain myths as history, but thats no reason to TEACH these myths as if they were history.
