Semsen, I don't believe I'm brainwashed at all. My good friend in the UK with a father that had to wait 4 months to get his angioplasty procedure post-heart attack or the Canadians who come to the US to get MRI's or CT's done in a timely manner will strongly disagree with you about which system is better. I don't claim to have the answer but there are very real and serious tradeoffs between the US and European model. It is 100% clear that universal coverage will adversely impact the level of care insured US citizens currently enjoy due to the simple economic issues.
