This duplicity needs no comment. It has been Israeli policy since 1967 and nothing has changed. There is one law for Jews and another for the non-Jews. What is illegal in the one case is perfectly permissible in the other. It's appalling but one hears not so much as a peep from the US or EU. As for Barak, the man of the trumped up "generous offer" and his jungle metaphor, what better metaphor could one find for a system that is nothing but a rehas of 19th cent. colonialism and barak a pale version of stanley and livingston.
