Racial profiling creates second class citizens. Not what many western countries want for the convenience of a quicker safety check or the ability to carry face cream through an airport. Interrogation techniques need to be refined to seek out individuals; however, to blatantly say that a certain sector of a society are suspects hurt the society as a whole giving the suspected group little hope for advancement in society, creating just more criminals.
