"How Abraham's bastards laugh! Laws in a land that isn't yours are meaningless. " I can't find words to comment on how offensive these lines are. Shame on Sarid. Most importantly the West Bank is disputed territory. Jordan's conquest of the West Bank in the 1948 invasion does not constitute sovereignty, nor does Israel's occupation in 1967. Disputed territory it is. Would Sarid find it equally objectionable if Arabs purchased property there? I suspect not - which of course makes his true intentions transparent. Sarid's failed attempt to quote scriptures is just an embarassment. Is it credible for anyone to violate the 10 commandments on a regular basis but quote Isaiah in National media? It's like a thug telling everyone else to love their mother more. Yossi - once you have mastered the 4th commandment with the same degree of love and dedication as the settlers you so forcefully offend then you can start quoting Isaiah.
